Paper Pack Highlight: Essential Black and White
Hello, everyone!
Kymona here to share an envelope scrapbook album using the brand new Essential Black & White 6x6 Paper Pack.
This paper pack is amazing. The black and white color combination is elegant and the different designs will leave you in complete awe. That is why I decided to create an envelope album that strictly focuses on the paper.
Let's take a look:
Yes, look at that paper! Amazing, right?! Wait until you see the inside.
Let's take a closer look:
Each page is an envelope made out of this paper pack.
Here's how I created this envelope album:
Use We R Memory Keepers Pocket Punch Board to create seven 2.75" x 4.5" envelopes out of the 6x6 paper.
Once the envelopes are all put together, arrange them in an order that is pleasing to the eye. For this album, I went with alternating the black and white.
To bind the envelopes, use the Cinch and silver rings to create a book.
To keep the envelopes close, use Tombow Hook & Loops Tabs.
Finally, to close the entire album, cut another piece of paper to the same size of the envelope and insert it into the last envelope leaving enough to fold over the cover envelope.
To keep it close, punch a hole and string a piece of white twine long enough to go around the entire album.
Now, this is the best part, at least to me - create a button out of the paper so that everything matches.
I used Dritz Craft Cover Button Kit to create a real button. You have to play with the paper for a bit since it's thick but once it's done, it's amazing.
Now the twine can hook onto the button for a beautiful closure.
The paper's design is pretty by itself, so keep the embellishments to a minimum.
Now, slide your photos in the pockets for safe keeping.
Let's take another look:
Easy enough!
So, what do you think? Will you create your own envelope album? I would love to hear from you!
