A New Idea for Fun and Modern Memory Keeping (With Video Tutorial!)

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Nathalie with you today to share a new idea for a fun and modern memory keeping layout featuring the new All-In-One Wax Seal Stamping Bundle, and Fun Little Envelopes Die Set. Who can resist the allure of combining these two new products!! All the details in the envelopes are enhanced by the delicate mini seals that fit perfectly on them. This time, I want to show you how you can easily combine them to create a colorful, detailed, and interactive multipicture memory keeping layout.

Welcome to Creativity Unlocked, where we highlight a new product from each month's collection or a fan favorite from past collections!
I love the look of the little envelopes showcasing the pictures and journaling. It is such a fun way to bring interest to your memory keeping while adding color, fun, and playfulness all in one page. Let's take a closer look:
A subtle background
One of the perks of creating your one-of-a-kind projects is that you are able to bring your ideas to live. I wanted lots of white space with subtle interest for the background. So I am using Pale Mauve Fresh Dye Ink and Squiggly Lines Background stencil to add just a few pops of color to the spread. I am applying the ink through the stencil, so it forms small patches of color that help the envelopes pop a bit more.
Add Your Memories in a Fun Way
The new Fun Little Envelopes Die Set presents the ideal way to frame your memories on a page while adding color and a whimsical touch. I am using a pastel color palette (Vanilla Cream, Blush, Soft Lilac, and Misty Morning Crafty Necessities Cardstock) to construct my envelopes. These are attached to the background as if cascading from the top to bottom of the page. I am keeping the envelopes open to help me frame/encase my photos in them, this is such a fun way to add multiple -small-photos to your page.
It's in the details
The new All-In-One Wax Seal Stamping bundle is a great way to bring extra details to each of the envelopes. I am taking advantage of the mini seal stamps and most of the wax beads to create small seals that fit each envelope accordingly. I am emphasizing the design in each of the seals by coloring them with Permanent Marker in Gold. So, even though I have a marbled look in the wax seal, the design and sentiment in each of them pops a little bit more.
Go for an Interactive Element for your Journaling
Fun and Modern memory keeping is characterized by lots of white space, photo focus, and long stories. But how about adding an interactive and tactile experience to the page. For this, I am taking advantage of the open design of the envelopes to create a pull out piece that holds my journaling.
It's All in The Details
It always comes to the last small details to bring your memory keeping layouts together. For this page it is all about balancing the photos with the title, and extra pops of color. Enamel dots to match the color of the envelopes and wax seals are a must, I am placing them around each of the envelope to color block each section.
The Bold Alphabet Die Set in combination with Brushed Rose Gold Metallic Cardstock provide a great balance of size and color to the page. I am taking advantage of the metallic finish to match the ones in the seals, and the size of the letters to balance the look of the page. In addition, I am making sure to bring more wax seals to the title to complement the sentiment and also to add interest.
Process Video
I am sure you want to take a closer look at how this page came together. I have created a video that will show you how it was constructed. You can watch here, or in HD in Altenew YouTube channel:
